Thank you for visiting my site! This is where I share my wildlife photography and personal adventures with the world. I also offer guided birding & photography tours for all levels in Maricopa County and birding itineraries for anybody looking to bird in Arizona but don't know where to begin. Check out the home page for more information on those offerings!

I grew up on Long Island, in Suffolk County, New York. The best way to begin my story as a birder is to give credit to my parents. My mom introduced me to birding when I was young, and my parents always took me on hikes and made sure I grew up with nature. I didn't always appreciate as a kid, but a passion for wildlife was being fostered without realizing it.

When I was in college, I was home for break during my Junior year. I saw a documentary about Panda conservation in China and something clicked, I realized that I wanted to help endangered species. I found a way to merge my finance degree with this passion to help endangered species. So far in my career I've had three internships in three different states (Texas, Virginia, and Florida), a full time position in New York City for two years and for the last five years I've lived in Phoenix. I started birding during my first internship in Houston, Texas and I haven't stopped since. In my travels I've seen over 480 different species in just the lower-48 USA, and 262 species in Arizona.

During my time living in Arizona I've traveled a ton and visited many places. I've practiced my tour guide skills on the many trips my family & NY birding friends have taken. I have been blessed to see many of the rarest species in Arizona including Elegant Trogon, Montezuma Quail, Spotted Owl, Elf Owl, Red-faced Warbler, Olive Warbler, and much more. I'd love to help you see that bucket list species! Please contact me to discuss my offerings further.
